Looking Forward To Our Cinco De Mayo Party!
April 30, 2026It’s middle of July and it feels deeper in Summer than it is, but we’re actually not even a month in. We’ll still be seeing many 90-degree days and heavy UV for more than two months to come. For most of us, including the staff here at Vitality, that means getting as much fun in the sun as you can, but if we had our way, July and August would both be “Skincare Awareness Month”.
High UV exposure without sunscreen damages skin.
Dehydration from high temperatures damages skin.
Summer hikes and picnics can expose you to allergens and things like poison ivy and they damage skin.
Heat rash can damage skin.
Swimming pools that have been overtreated with chemicals can damage skin.
Bug bites or stings, especially if you have sensitivities to them, damage skin.
But with careful planning and visits to skincare professionals, the Summer season doesn’t need to be weighed down with anxiety of what it’s doing to your dermal layer. We post these infographics on our Facebook page, but we think they apply here as well to give you an idea of how Vitality Spa can help maintain your skin’s quality of health or address any other issues you may be considering treatment for:
